Drawn on: 3-30-06 | This was the first finished picture I'd done in a long time. It turned out quite nicely, if I may say so myself. This time, instead of doodling a semi-chibi and deciding it looked sorta like Aeris so I might as well go all-out, I was on a quest to draw an Aeris fanart. I had just been playing FF7 and Aeris had just died, and I wanted to draw a tribute to her (no, I didn't soak my shirt in tears this time). But instead of drawing some dreary dying scene, I decided I'd draw her happy, like she was throughout, uhh, most of the game! I showed it to some of my friends after wasting seven hours on it and they almost didn't give it back. I showed them the original pic and the general consensus was that if it weren't for the fact that I suck at drawing creases in cloth, mine would be better than the official art (they didn't say it with so little tact, however, 'cause they're good friends). I doubt that, and I know they are biased, but still, hey, it's nice to hear sometimes.
