Drawn on: 8-20-06 | This is Sally, the heroine(?) from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. I made a LOT of changes to her head and body shapes, to fit her into my style, and another big change is her eyes. But with many different image references (many of which were conflicting in some way or another, and none suitable of which I could find actually FROM the MOVIE) I tried to make her dress like the original, and put her seams in the right places. I used buttloads of ink on that dress. No, I didn't use a fill tool, I did ink all that, though I'm sure it shows. I followed the pattern on the upper left of her dress as best I could but my references conflicted so I ended up making up half the pattern. But it still looks like it fits, I think.
