He's the third main character of the AS prequel I spoke of, and a Shade, one of the people inhabiting the small country south of the Magic Kingdom, the Shadowland. He wields the legendary blade Oathbringer, but by no choice of his own--the stupid sword picked him when he was a baby, and so he's lived his entire life with the weight of the knowledge that he will one day be responsible for saving his people. Meeting free-spirited Shino, they quickly became best friends, as well as total opposites. Torrin's serious demeanor and logical, practical ways tend to make him come off as cruel or insensitive. But he's already learned he can't attach his emotions to every decision he makes if all of the Shades' futures depend on him.
