The chibi guy getting all angry at him is Vincent Atharion (not to be confused with my many, many other characters bearing the same given name). He's the Chancellor in the Blood Clan and, being twenty-seven years old, Zennan's official babysitter (or at least, babysitting is what he disdainfully calls it). Zennan gets on his nerves a lot, in part because Vincent is a very proper and rule-bound noble while Zennan does whatever he feels like (such as driving motorcycles off of rooftops), and also in part because Zennan has this bad habit of calling him "old man". Which results in more burnt palace walls (Vincent is one of the very few people in the Blood Clan with magic power--his element is fire).
