Drawn on: 7-22-08 | This guy is my *cough* fanservice picture. Forgive the smudges, the sketchbook did it, not me. (Smudgies are infuriating!!!) I was originally just drawing a guy, and he was going to be serious, too, but when I drew the wide mouth this guy just took over, saying, "No, I don't want to do that. I want to do this." The open shirt was his idea. (Erm... the upper body just turned out so well...) And the pants weren't supposed to be that low; I was drawing in the details in the upper body and everything ended up higher than I originally intended, except of course the pants. Imagine a beach behind him (and a bunch of pretty girls past the paper on the left side). The tattoo is a stylized zodiac symbol Gemini; I was listening to the Within Temptation song "Aquarius," and wanted to name him that, but it didn't seem to fit him, so I picked one that (according to Wikipedia) seemed to fit the personality that evolved from this picture and sounded cool--thus, "Gemini."
