Drawn on: 8-2-08 | You have to look at the big version. I like to call this "The Twin-Blooded's Eyes." This is Laik Verdier, the protagonist of an idea I have in my head (that is, ironically, based off the lyrics of the Within Temptation song "Hand of Sorrow"--I mean come ON, that song is a story just waiting to be written!). He's dragon-blooded: part man, part fey. His right eye is a piercing, metallic green, and is the dragon eye; the other, the human eye, is icy blue. The idea in my head was actually stark black-and-white, but I used gradients with pencils instead. I wanted to emphasize the contrast between his eyes--his light side and his dark side.
