Drawn on: 2-19-08 | They're holding masks in front of their faces. One of my friends but none of my family members figured this out at first glance. I know the real Muses are all female, but I like creating male characters, so four out of the nine in Magus Story (the Muse names are code names for them, they're not literally supposed to be the Greek Muses) are guys. Melpomene is one of those guys (Tristan). Thalia, of course, is female. I wanted to draw Tristan, and I ended up making it a Muse pic with his opposite, Thalia (Melpomene and Thalia are the drama Muses, Melpomene of tragedy and Thalia of comedy). That's why they're wearing theater masks. THOSE ARE THEATER MASKS, DANGIT. Tristan's face was pretty cool before I covered it up, but oh well, it was more dramatic. They're freaking masks!!!!!! Why does no one ever believe me?!
