Drawn on: 3-3-09 | Originally drawn just for the pose, he evolved into a character. (Yes, I did use a reference for the pose, mainly the foot. Props if you have any idea what it was from, though.) At some point I decided he looked like he was sloppily wearing a school uniform, so I made up the school name (Kingsmoore Academy), and just for fun gave him an armband with part of the katakana for "Kingsmoore" written on it. Anyway, he evolved into Li Xuanwu, the main character of... I don't even know what, a transfer student to the fancy prep school Kingsmoore Academy and honestly one of the most sarcastic characters I've ever made. Oh, and he's into heavy metal. And video games. And martial arts. And not being friends with people like... well, like his roommate, who tries to be friendly despite Li's personality. (Poor Terry. He's just a nice guy, but Li doesn't cut him any slack.)
Kingsmoore Academy is full of rumors of ghosts, spirits, and the like, but Li laughs it off. He doesn't believe in that stuff. Unfortunately for him, for six months starting at midnight on All Hallows Eve, spirits do in fact have reign on the island of Cragston whereupon the Academy was built; only the campus is safe, and even there, not always... and somehow, for better or worse, Li is surrounded by the only fellow-students who know what's going on!
