Drawn on: 3-7-09 | Katelyn Tannor (Kate) is on the left, Reye Abaddon is on the right. Originally I just wanted to design the girls' uniform for Kingsmoore Academy (after drawing the boy, who became Li). I started drawing Reye, but she looked from her pose like someone else was there, so I made Kate, and after they were mostly done they and Li all evolved into their current characters. Reye and Kate are freshmen, roommates, and though they just met, they're quick best friends. Kate and Reye are almost like foil to each other, as Kate is loud, outgoing, and energetic, and Reye is quiet, serious, and usually shy. However, Reye is the more important character; Kate is just an ordinary 14-year-old girl, but Reye seems to almost be stalking Li Xuanwu, and only she knows why.
Reye Abaddon is one of the few students who has any idea what's going on during the 6 months of spirit realm control over the island Cragston. She seems to have a mysterious power over spirits. Coupling that with her very mature-for-her-age demeanor and strange, inexplicable interest in Li, either he's got the best help he can get--or he's in a lot of trouble.
