Drawn on: 7-1-09 | Okay, nobody stone me. This is going to be a fun one to explain... *groan*It's for my friend's 18th birthday, which is July 5th. She said instead of a little bitty card (which I've been complaining I can't think up jokes for anymore anyway), she wanted a full-size picture, like I did for her 16th. Now, her 16th pic was one big inside joke involving me with my pants on fire and the spirit of Fire laughing its ass off at me. She's turning 18 now, so I got the evil idea to draw her a pin-up.
"William Alexander" is the entire joke, really. (Other than the fact that I. Drew. Her. A. Pin. Up.) It's an old inside joke with a bunch of us who are really close to her--basically, we've been predicting that she will only marry a man if he is named William Alexander for a couple of years now and we actually do have a basis for it, but come now, I can't spoil everything.
I'm not entirely satisfied with how it turned out. For one thing, the stubble got completely washed out in the scan and I don't like his face. But I spent all bloody day on it, dangit, I'm not redoing it now! ...Aw crap. I should've shaded it. *groan*
