I already mentioned that he's my latest D&D character, the twin brother of my real brother's female character Isala (man, I love the gender-swap). I didn't go fully into his personality yet. As I said, he's socially clueless. I get to do some fun stuff with that. He will take things too literally, butcher common phrases (like saying "What is vertical?" instead of "What's up?"), consult his notebook (full of notes, of course) when in doubt, and when he "discovers" something new he will start writing in it. And usually say what he's writing out loud. Which tends not to endear him to people. He doesn't mean to be rude, he just is, without ever realizing it. (*trip* *glance* *writing* "Note to self: gnomes stand at prime tripping height. OW! ...And don't appreciate it.") He also loves to explain human society to his sister (who hates all of it), but he usually explains it wrong, and since he conducted most of his "research" by watching people in taverns, his outlook is... unique. He usually finishes his explanations with the phrase, "That is the sum of my research."
He's a nut and I love him.
