I was in a drawing slump and talking to a friend as I did this; by the time it fully dawned on me just what I was doing, I already had both upper bodies done and Sol looked too good to throw out. Aiden (left) doesn't look particularly great, but Sol (behind him) turned out really well, especially the face and arm/hand. So I couldn't bring myself to leave it be; I had to finish it and scan it. ...And there's a reason this isn't up on deviantART anywhere.I have an explanation for these two. They started as my elemental knights (well, they're still two of them). Aiden is Fire and Sol is Sun. Both are masculine elements, but originally, Fire, Moon, Wind, and Water were me and my three (then) best friends. So, Fire was a woman turned man. At some point, Aiden ceased to be me as his character kept evolving, but he kept the trait of being a girl who got gender-swapped upon changing worlds and becoming a Knight. Granted, Sol is not aware of this, but Aiden most acutely is, so the reason this doesn't bother Aiden as much as it ought to isn't 'cause he's gay--it's 'cause "he" is really a straight female. I can't figure out why it doesn't bother Sol; he just decided to do this in my head at some point and left me going "Umm, okaaaay...?" Sol is supposed to be quite straight, but... I dunno. I guess he made an exception. *shrug*
